CES Recap: AI Moves from Experiment to Creative Infrastructure

CES 2026 made one thing clear: AI is becoming a core part of the creative and commercial infrastructure.

Across multiple conversations at Aria during Digital Hollywood, C Space, UTA Future Decoded, and Variety Entertainment Summit, leaders from studios, streamers, creators, and tech platforms converged on a shared reality: the next era of storytelling will be built with AI-native workflows, creator-driven ecosystems, and immersive audience experiences that blend digital and physical worlds.

Key themes that we’ve been tracking for a while: creators are becoming the new studios, AI tools are accelerating production and personalization, and ethical frameworks around training data and creative ownership are now business-critical. Meanwhile, advances in real-time world-building, immersive interfaces, and AI-driven narrative systems point toward a future where storyworlds extend far beyond the screen.

For FBRC, CES reinforced our north star: to build the next-gen studio stack — the creative, technical, and cultural foundation that enables next-generation storytelling, scalable immersive experiences, and global creator-driven IP. Where culture is built, communities gather, and new business models emerge.

We hosted a private mixer with Lionsgate at CES, and we had an epic turnout! Executives, Hollywood stars, and AI artists mingled after going through the John Wick Experience at Area15.

Sundance!

London Calling!

We are excited to be hosting an AI on the Lot: London popup with Framestore on February 24th. 

This pop-up mixer explores how intelligent tools are reshaping creative workflows across film, immersive, and emerging media. The evening blends short, forward-looking talks with relaxed networking to spark collaboration among those building the future of storytelling.
