AI Industry Report: Studio Edition

This is the first of what will be quarterly AI Industry Reports. Each report will not only analyze key trends but also serve as a benchmark for industry progress—allowing us to revisit these transformations in the coming year and measure their impact. 

This first edition of the Industry Report series explores the rise of AI Studios—a new wave of companies rethinking production pipelines, creative workflows, and the roles of artists and engineers in AI-driven storytelling. This report includes:

• Insights from 98 self-identified AI studios, compiled from a public call for participation on LinkedIn

• Exclusive interviews with 9 pioneering studios and tools shaping studio infrastructure, including Promise, Asteria, Secret Level, shy kids, and more.

• Analysis of evolving infrastructure, emerging job markets, and shifting industry dynamics

NAB BattleBots® x PromptBattle Party!

If you’re at NAB, join us for our afterparty on Sunday, April 6th! ​Curious Refuge and FBRC.ai present the second annual AI Filmmaking Party. After last year's AI Filmmaking Mega-Party and Prompt Battle, we're following up this year with a combo PromptBattle x BattleBots® live event at the BattleBots® Arena in Vegas!

​Live robotic combat meets with state-of-the-art generative AI (thanks to OpenArt), transforming every high-octane round into a real-time commercial masterpiece.

​Competitors will create creative segments inspired by each BattleBots fight, which will then be seamlessly woven into a unified ~30sec ad by the end of the event.
